St. Cloud Woman Arrested After Alleged Gun Threat
ST. CLOUD -- A St. Cloud woman was arrested after allegedly threatening another person with a gun.
The incident happened last (Wednesday) night at about 5:45 p.m. near Lake George.
Police say 56-year-old Cheryl Williams and 54-year-old Retha Shavers, both of St. Cloud, got into a verbal argument, when Shavers left, returned with a gun and pointed it at Williams.
Police later found Shavers near the intersection of 12th Street and 6th Avenue South, along with a .22 caliber handgun.
She was arrested and taken to Stearns County Jail. Shavers faces charges of 2nd degree assault.
