ST. CLOUD - The St. Cloud school board voted unanimously on Thursday night to start looking into the process of adding ten classrooms to Clearview Elementary, Kennedy Community and North Junior High School.

The plan also calls for the expansion of the kitchen area at Apollo High School. With enrollment on the rise the three schools have been lacking classroom space. Clearview has had to use portable classrooms recently as a temporary solution.

The school board will now move forward to start the process of looking for an architect for the preliminary designs. The very early estimated costs will be $12 million - $4.5 million for Clearview, $3.5 million for both Kennedy and North Junior High and $500,000 for the Apollo Kitchen.
