Souhan; Gopher Basketball Will Shoot Lots of 3s [PODCAST]

The Gopher men's basketball team opened their season with a dominating 85-50 win over Cleveland State at Williams Arena Tuesday night.  Minnesota made 13-29 from 3-point range including Payton Willis hitting 5-8.  Star Tribune Sports Columnist Jim Souhan joined me on WJON today.  He likes this team but isn't sure how they will rank in the Big Ten.  Listen below.

Gopher Head Football Coach P.J. Fleck received a 7-year contract extension.  Jim says U of M administration wanted to silence the rumors of Fleck leaving to go to Florida State.  Jim thinks this new contract could be good for both sides.
