ELK RIVER -- The Sherburne County Sheriff's Department is using a homeland security grant to provide free CPR training to new and existing neighborhood watch participants.

You will receive basic First Aid and CPR training that will show you the new guidelines taught by the American Heart Association. This training qualifies for certification in both CPR and First Aid.

There will be four sessions in May and June. The first is tomorrow in Zimmerman from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Sheriff's Office Public Safety Building.

The remaining dates and locations are --

-- Tuesday, May 24th from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Sherburne County Range and Training Center in the Elk River Government Center.

-- Thursday, June 16th from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Palmer Town Hall

-- Tuesday, June 28th from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Sheriff's Office Public Safety Building in Zimmerman
