SAUK RAPIDS -- A local vehicle dealership is receiving a national award for the second consecutive year in a row. GATR Truck Center in Sauk Rapids has been named the 2012 U.S. Dealer of the Year by Volvo Trucks.

The award honors the dealership for overall accomplishment and performance. The business opened in 1962 as Grile Auto & Truck Repair, then acquiring a Volvo franchise in 1994.

Today they offer parts and service departments with new and used truck sales. GATR has two additional locations in Iowa.
