Sauk Rapids Couple Encounters Impact of Hurricane Irene in Florida [AUDIO]

DAYTONA BEACH, FLA - Hurricane Irene is racing along the eastern seaboard, and residents are preparing for the worst.

Down in Daytona Beach Florida, Sauk Rapids native Gwen Merhwerth said they definitely felt the impact of Irene at their seasonal home near the water.

Irene has largely passed the southern parts of the eastern US, and is expected to do significantly more damage to the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions.
