Sartell Wants Your Opinion on Current Tobacco Ordinance
SARTELL -- Sartell wants your opinion regarding the current tobacco ordinance.
A public hearing will be held tonight (Monday) to consider changes to the current cigarette sales ordinance.
Changes would include the sales of E-cigarettes and liquids and how they are sold.
Under the new ordinance E-cigarettes would no longer be self service and must be kept behind the counter, the liquids kept in child proof packaging and limit areas where E-cigarettes can be used.
The considered changes were recommended by the Police Department.
The hearing will be part of the city council meeting beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Sartell City Hall.
