Salvation Army’s “Fill the Flyer” Campaign Met with Strong Support [GALLERY]

ST. CLOUD - The Salvation Army's "Fill the Flyer" campaign is a smashing holiday season success.

As of yesterday, the total amount of food collected through the bus food drive campaign, through various stops around the St. Cloud area, has reached over thirteen hundred pounds.

Better still, the employees at the New Flyer bus plant decided to match the generosity of the St. Cloud area, and as a group, added an extra fifteen hundred pound of food donations to the mix, bring the total to just under three thousand pounds of food.

The bus will wrap up the drive at Walmart from 10 a.m to 1 p.m. today.

The campaign has been going on throughout the St. Cloud area all week. It will support St. Cloud Salvation Army and Catholic Charities  in feeding those without enough to eat this holiday season and beyond.
