Rescheduled TaKe A Kid Fishing Event To Be Held Saturday

PLEASANT LAKE -- The St. Cloud Park & Recreation Department and Simply Outdoor Experiences will hold this year's second annual "Take A Kid Ice Fishing" event Saturday.

It was re-scheduled after last Sunday's snowstorm.

The event is designed to give kids a chance to learn how to ice fish, use the equipment and experience the sport firsthand. It will be held at Pleasant Lake, near the 400 Club, Sunday from Noon-to-4:00.

Everything will be provided including a light lunch of hot dog, chips and hot chocolate.

The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for kids under 18. Adults who bring a child do not need a fishing license or that day.
