ST. CLOUD -- Voters could see a new referendum in St. Cloud after the school board stated its intent in pursuing such action.

The board voted Thursday to look into the creation of an operating referendum along with a second capitol referendum, which includes upgrades to Clark Field.

In order for the capitol referendum to pass, voters must first approve of the operating portion.

No questions have been drafted at this point. Board chairman Bruce Mohs recused himself from the issue due to his involvement in the matter.

Voters could see both measures on a ballot later this year.
