Minn. man accused of selling underage girl for sex

ANOKA, Minn. (AP) — An northern Twin Cities man is accused of prostituting an underage girl through the Internet.

Twenty-year-old Zaiye Dehkee Jr. of Anoka faces one count of prostitution with a victim under 18.

The Star Tribune reports Dehkee is accused of pimping out the girl on a website when she was 16.

The charges say Anoka police answered a domestic-related call Monday and met the victim. The girl told police she met Dehkee on the Internet last spring.

In the last eight months, the girl reportedly had sex for money with about 600 men, according to the charges.

Dehkee was in the Anoka County Jail on Friday. Bail was set at $200,000 with no release conditions or $100,000 with conditions.

Anoka County sheriff's Lt. Paul Sommer says the investigation is ongoing.
