ST. CLOUD -- A mild winter and some new technology has helped the city of St. Cloud catch up on repairing pot holes. Assistant Public Works Director Steve Lawrence says after two tough winters, they finally caught a break.

Lawrence says they have two new trailers which produce what's called "hot mix".  The hot mix is a much better product than the typical cold mix city crews had to use in past winters.  In other years, crews had to wait for the hot mix plants to open in May before they could use the more durable product.

Lawrence says they still have the pot hole hotline available to motorists who want to report trouble spots, but he says they have had only 19 phone calls so far this spring.

If you'd like to report a pot hole to be fixed, you're asked to call the city at 650-2949.
