Metal Service Center Moving To Rogers, Added Workers
ROGERS - Midwest Steel Supply Incorporated is moving its operations to Rogers.
The company currently based in New Hope is planning to build a $5.2 million 55,000 square foot office and distribution space that will double the size of their current facility. The added room will allow them to hire 15 additional workers. The new jobs created will be phased in over three years and will pay wagers averaging about $17 an hour.
The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development is helping the project with a nearly $256,000 grant from the Job Creation Fund.
Midwest Steel was established in 1960. It is a metal service center and distributor specializing in aluminum, stainless steel, steel and brass, as well as precision cutting of metal.
