PELICAN RAPIDS (AP) -- A man who informed sheriff's deputies of a death at his home in western Minnesota has been arrested after a body was found buried on his property.

Otter Tail County sheriff's officials say the 25-year-old Detroit Lakes man was arrested Friday after informing them of an incident that resulted in a death.

On Saturday, detectives uncovered the body of 28-year-old Dylan Butler at the property north of Pelican Rapids. Authorities say it appeared Butler, who lived at the house with the suspect since May, had been shot.

An autopsy was expected to be done Monday at the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office in Anoka.
