Man Hurt in Highway 10 Crash Near Rice

RICE -- A Rice man was hurt after a broadside crash on Highway 10 near Rice Monday evening.

The State Patrol says 27-year-old Andrew Klein was traveling north on Highway 10 when a van driven by 48-year-old Robert Pierskalla of Rice pulled out into the northbound lane. His van was struck broadside by Klein's Honda Civic.

Klein suffered what's believed to be non-life threatening injuries.  Pierskalla was not hurt.

The crash happened at the intersection of Highway 10 and 105th Street Northwest at about 5:30 p.m.
