Update: Big Lake Teen Stabbed to Death in Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Authorities say an 18-year-old man found injured on a Minneapolis sidewalk was stabbed to death.

The Hennepin County medical examiner's office on Tuesday identified the victim as Ahkeem Deontravaye Robinson of Big Lake.

Officers found Robinson about 2 a.m. Monday after responding to a 911 call. The victim was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale where he died a short time later.

According to the medical examiner, Robinson died of a stab wound to the left shoulder and armpit. His death was ruled a homicide.

Minneapolis police are investigating.
