Man Dies After Falling Through Ice

BURNSVILLE, Minn. (AP) - A man who broke through the ice on a Burnsville pond has died.

A passer-by called authorities after seeing the man in distress Monday afternoon at Sunset Pond Park.

The Dakota County Sheriff's Department says 43-year-old Brett Stroud, of Savage, died at a hospital Tuesday night.
