Learn How To Stop Finger Pointing, Name Calling In Political Conversations

ST. CLOUD - Coming off a highly charged campaign season, there's an event in St. Cloud Wednesday that teaches us all how to bring respect back to politics.

Denny Smith is leading a seminar called "Civility In Politics".

Our goal is just to talk about how you and I talking on the street with our friends and neighbors can really have a civil discussion about issues that are important to us without the name calling and partisanship and all of that...

Smith says it's time to put aside our anger and partisan bickering and find common ground.

Smith says he'll focus on the hot button issue of our health care laws, and talk about how to get past the name calling and finger pointing and talk about solutions.

The event starts at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Cloud Public Library.

It is free and open to everyone.
