Authorities have completed the active portion of their investigation into the murder of officer Decker. However, The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Stearns County Sheriff's Office say the case will remain open in the event any new information becomes available.

The state Department of Public Safety says investigators have gathered enough evidence that would have led to the arrest of Eric Thomes had Thomes not killed himself January 2nd.

Officials also say while there was probable cause to arrest Ryan Larson at the time, there is no evidence to suggest he was involved with Decker's murder.

Anyone with additional information on Decker's murder is asked to call the Stearns County Sheriff's Office at 877-782-5683 or the BCA at 877-996-6222.
