COLD SPRING — The city of Cold Spring is inviting the community to the dedication of the Tom Decker Memorial Garden.

Crews began working on the garden earlier this month and construction on it is wrapping up.

When completed it will feature two flag poles, a granite memorial monument and granite stone with an image of Decker carved into it. Flowers and shrubs will be added in the spring.

Many area businesses donated money or supplies to help fund the project including Knife River, Stantec and Artistic Stone and Concrete.

The ceremony will be held at 6:00 p.m. November 29 outside City Hall.

Officer Tom Decker was shot and killed in Cold Spring on November 29 2012, his murder remains unsolved.
