Meet The Ambitious Boy Turning Hard Work Into Dreams
I grew up in what I would definitely call small-town Minnesota.
So when I came across a recent post on Princeton’s online bulletin board, it immediately made me smile.
EXPERIENCE FAR BEYOND HIS YEARS
The post included photos of what looked like a very young boy, but with work experience far beyond his years, looking to earn some money on his own.
And the best part? He wasn’t asking anyone to give him anything.
He was asking for the chance to work.
HELPING PEOPLE AND WORKING HARD
Yes. This young man wants to work and help people with things they need done. That desire feeds two things for Camren: he genuinely loves helping people, and he enjoys working hard.

Even though he’s young, he already has several years of hands-on experience that could be a big help to people around Central Minnesota.
CAN YOU DRIVE A TRACTOR?
Camren has spent years mowing yards, driving tractors, and helping with other farm-related work. Honestly, he already has the kind of real-life experience that some adults never get the chance to learn.

Camren’s mom, Nessa, is a single mom of two who works in the hospice industry. Knowing firsthand the journey of being a single parent, I immediately felt a connection to their story and asked if Camren would be willing to share a little about himself.
GROWING UP IN THE FARMING COMMUNITY
Camren told me he’s from the Zimmerman area and grew up on a small hobby farm.
His Grandpa, whom he proudly calls his best friend, has taught him nearly everything he knows about farming.
Grandpa showed him how to drive tractors and how to operate equipment around the farm. Basically, if it has a motor, there’s a good chance Grandpa has already taught Camren how to run it.
And Camren says he has loved every second of learning.
MAKING THINGS HAPPEN
“I love helping people any chance I can,” Camren told me. “I also love fishing and hunting, so I want to find work so I can save up to buy myself a boat. I found one I really like, so I’m eager to work hard so I can get it myself.”
His mom even sent me a photo of the boat he hopes to earn. It costs about $500, and since fishing and hunting are two of his biggest passions, it’s easy to understand how much it would mean for him to buy it with money he earned himself.
FUTURE ADVENTURES FOR CAMREN
Camren also shared that he’ll soon be taking a trip to Florida to go deep-sea fishing, which sounds like an adventure he’ll never forget.
THINGS ARE LOOKING GOOD FOR CAMREN
I think Camren just might earn enough to get that boat he's chasing. The last time I talked to his mother, he already had about 10 calls for work!
His wonderful Mom is willing to give him a ride to your location, and honestly, I would love to see him reach his goal of becoming the proud owner of a boat that he worked hard to earn.
THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT
Something tells me Camren has a bright future ahead of him, and I’m definitely rooting for him to land that fishing boat. What a great example he is setting for his little sister. Good Luck Camren!
