COLD SPRING -- Soup and chili lovers will get a chance to sample 40 different homemade and commercial confections at the 5th annual Cold Spring Jaycees Soup & Chili Bowls event tomorrow.

Spokesman Mike Stalboerger says admission is free but they are asking for a donation to the food shelf.

Stalboerger says it will also double as a fundraiser for Cold Spring resident Roger Illies who became paralyzed after falling from a ladder. There will be a raffle, silent auction and other food vendors on hand as well.

Doors open at 5:00 and Stalboerger says get there early because the chili usually runs out by about 7:30.

There will be live music, beer, pop and water available too.

The will be held at the Cold Spring Brewery Distribution Center located off Stearns County Road 2.
