Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity is breaking some new ground - but not in the way you might expect. They're getting ready to open a ReStore. Habitat for Humanity Executive Director Bruce Johnson says the store will sell all kinds of remodeling materials at 50-75% below retail prices.

Johnson says over 6 million tons of usable building materials have been kept out of landfills through ReStore programs nationwide.

The store will begin collecting materials at their future shopfront at 2801 West St. Germain St. in St. Cloud Thursday, March 17th from 3-6 p.m., Friday the 18th from 9 a.m. to noon, and Saturday the 19th from 9 a.m. to noon. Those drop-off hours will be consistent throughout March and April.
