Granite City Days Wraps Up With Day Of Fun At Lake George [VIDEO]

ST. CLOUD -- With Granite City Days coming to a close in 2015, hundreds of people came out to enjoy the day's festivities at Lake George.

The sun was shining as families enjoyed inflatables, food vendors, and stage entertainment at the Family Fun Fest.

Along with the fun fest, a fishing derby, petting zoo and outdoor expo highlighted the day.

"It's a wonderful opportunity to celebrate community," says St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis.

"This is a family fun event, [with all the activities] you can't lose by just being out here on a beautiful Sunday afternoon."

Kleis says the event is a great way to bring a close to a very successful Granite City Days in 2015.

"It's been great, you couldn't ask for better weather for the weekend," Kleis says.

"I loved the parade and I liked the new [karaoke contest], between those and the other events, I liked it all."
