Giving Tuesday: Fat Guys And Hot Chicks Active Raising Money Through Fun And Games

SAUK RAPIDS - A group of local friends have been raising some serious money with a lot of fun and games. The non-profit organization "Fat Guys And Hot Chicks Active" has been around for about five years now, and has raised about $40,000.

Spokesman Mitch Eickhoff says their next event is a kick ball tournament coming up on May 21st.

The kick ball tournament will be at the Sauk Rapids softball fields. It's $120 per team.  You get a t-shirt for everybody on your team.  We require everyone on the team bring a toy, that's how we raise donations for Toys For Tots.

Eickhoff says this is their 3rd annual kick ball tournament.

They also have their 3rd annual golf tournament coming up on June 12th, and a new event, a 5K in Cold Spring on June 17th.

All of the money raised at their events go to local organizations like Anna Marie's Alliance, Toys For Tots, and Tanner's Team Foundation.
