Americans give millions to charity every year and the Better Business Bureau of Minnesota and North Dakota is warning you to make sure your chosen charity is on the up and up.

A Sartell based non-profit is hoping for sunny skies for their fundraiser this weekend. The Tom Bearson Foundation is hosting its 3rd Annual Golf Tournament at Blackberry Ridge Golf Course in Sartell, Saturday.

The biggest event of the year for Tanner's Team Foundation is coming up Saturday. Their 7th annual 5K walk-run will be held at Bob Cross Park in Sauk Rapids from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

The new Community Outpost - or COP House - will be opening next week in south St. Cloud. St. Cloud Police Lieutenant Lori Ellering says their first day open will be next Thursday, June 1st.

The St. Cloud Relay For Life is coming-up next month, and while teams have been busy raising money for the American Cancer Society all year long, there are still ways for you to be a part of the event.

One of the St. Cloud area's newest non profit organizations is called "I AM". They're actually still working on getting their 5013C status, but after raising nearly $4,000 at their first fundraising event, they're on their way.
