HUTCHINSON -- An Eden Valley man was arrested and charged this week after he was allegedly making a Snapchat video of juvenile boys while they were taking showers in the locker room at the Hutchinson Aquatic Center. The boys were wearing swimsuits at the time.

Authorities say 22-year-old Eduardo E. Romero is charged with Interference with Privacy Against a Minor, which is a felony.

The incident was reported Tuesday afternoon when some boys saw what Romero was doing. Police arrived within minutes and seized the iPad Romero was using to make the video.

After further investigation, Romero was arrested and charged. He was taken to the McLeod County Jail, where he remains in custody.

Authorities say Romero has no criminal history.
