Downtown St. Cloud Home Furnishings Store Closing This Summer

ST. CLOUD - A unique home furnishings store in downtown St. Cloud will be closing its doors this summer.

Accents is at 713 West St. Germain Street and opened in 2010. Owner Kathy Severson says she and her husband decided to close the store for personal reasons and would like more time to travel.

"It has been a good experience, we've watched the downtown area grow very nicely. There were probably four of five shops when we opened and it just seems that every year there are two to three more."

Severson says the store will be open for the Downtown St. Cloud Art Crawl on June 12th and will likely close near the end of the month.

"We've enjoyed our time here, it's been a good experience and we were glad to see downtown St. Cloud evolve over time," Severson says.
