Dollar General Store Opening in Rice This Fall

RICE - A Dollar General store is planning to open in Rice this fall.

The store will be off of Highway 10 at 12564 Fromelt Loop Northwest. The total building will be 9,000 square feet with a 7,300 square foot sales floor.

Mary Colbert with Dollar General communications says the store will hire 6 to 10 employees, including three full-time positions. The store is scheduled to open sometime mid-fall.

Dollar General is a small box discount retailer based in Goodlettsville Tennessee. They have over 11,700 stores in 43 states.
