Distracted Driver Causes Crash in Kandiyohi County
KANDIYOHI COUNTY -- A distracted driver caused a two vehicle crash in Kandiyohi County this afternoon (Tuesday).
The incident happened around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 71 and County Road 27.
25-year-old Luke Alsleben, of Bird Island, was heading north on Highway 71 when he looked down at his GPS and rear ended a Nissan Sentra attempting to turn.
40-year-old Deborah Bengtson and 41-year-old Kevin Rohner, both of Spicer, were in the Nissan.
Bengtson suffered minor injuries in the crash.
Rohner and Alsleben were not hurt.
