Dennis G. McGinnis, 73, of Little Falls, MN died on Friday, May 15, 2015 at St. Cloud Veterans Hospital in St. Cloud, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial for Dennis will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 11 am, with a visitation at 10 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN. Burial with Military Honors at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, MN.

Dennis was born on March 8, 1942 in St. Paul, MN to George and Ethel (Hanson) McGinnis. Dennis was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local #120 and VFW Post 1112. He was a man known for his love of being able to build or fix anything. Dennis was a practical joker, had very strong political views and work ethic. He cared about people and had a great unconditional love for his family.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Kathleen; children, Jennifer McGinnis of Hugo, MN and David (Emma) McGinnis of Urbandale, IA; siblings, Joseph McGinnis of Jacksonville, FL, John McGinnis of Manitou Springs, CO, Tim McGinnis of Phoenix, AZ, and Katherine Mary Hunziger of St. Francis, MN; and grandchildren, Lisha, Demetreus, Amaria, Conal, and Brennan; and by great-grandchildren Taia, Gavyn, and Aurora. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ethel; sisters, Delores Pionk, Edith Prokop, Janet Hanson; brothers, Michael McGinnis and Robert McGinnis; and great-granddaughter, Jraya McGinnis. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter, MN.
