Crossroads Pizza Hut Shuts Doors, Moves Locations

ST. CLOUD - The St. Cloud Crossroads Pizza Hut is closing its doors and moving to a different location.

A new store in Sundial Village at 713 2nd Street South in Waite Park is now open and will offer delivery and carryout services.

Officials with Pizza Hut say Chick-fil-A has previously had interest in the building, but haven't given any offical word on opening a store yet.

In an email to WJON, Chick-fil-A spokeswoman Kim Hardcastle says it's too early to confirm any details, but adds that they hope to expand to the area soon.

“We are always evaluating potential new locations in the hopes of serving existing and new customers great food with remarkable service. We would very much like to become a member of more communities in Minnesota, including St. Cloud, in the near future.” 

Another new Pizza Hut as part of the 5th Avenue Live! project is set to open sometime in the spring. Coborn Plaza spokesman Brian Schoenborn says the Pizza Hut will be unique in that it plans to have a full bar with alcoholic beverages.
