CLEARWATER -- The Clearwater Lions Club is looking to give back to the community during this Christmas season.

Lions Club President Pete Edmonson says they've decided to work with the Salvation Army by volunteering to bell ring for their Red Kettle Campaign.

The club is signed up to bell ring from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Friday at the Clearwater Coborn's on County Road 75.

The Clearwater Lion's Club will also be matching donations made during that time, up to $1,000.

Edmonson says the club has never volunteered to be bell ringers.

"We've never done this as a club before, so hopefully we have a good community turnout, and have it be an annual thing."
