ST. CLOUD - Wanted: 100 great male role models. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Minnesota is getting ready to kick-off their biggest volunteer drive ever.

Recruiter Rachel Johnson says their "Man Up Minnesota" campaign starts on January 1st.

We have about 80 little boys on our waiting list for a big brother, and they are typically waiting for 304 days for a mentor.

Johnson says right now they're looking for community partners to join them in the campaign. They've already gotten commitments from the St. Cloud Police Department and the St. Cloud State University athletic department. Johnson says they're hoping local businesses will also consider partnering with them, to help match some of their male employees with boys looking for a big brother.

Program requirements include a 12 month committment, and spending at least one hour a week with your "little".

They're hoping to reach their 100 man goal by April 8th - which is their annual "Magic Moments Gala".
