BECKER -- Becker Police arrested two people for possession of methamphetamine yesterday (Thursday).

Police received a call at about 9:30 p.m. reporting a vehicle traveling west on Highway 10 that was weaving and changing speeds.

Officers found the vehicle and made a traffic stop. While speaking to the driver, police say they saw an open bottle of alcohol on the floor.

The vehicle was searched and several hypodermic needles and methamphetamines were found.

The driver, 26-year-old Dustin Maurer of Little Falls, was arrested for driving after suspension, allowing an open bottle and posession of hypodermic needles.

The passenger, 28-year-old Sara Witucki of Little Falls, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, obstructing the legal process, open bottle, posession of hypodermic needles and drug paraphernalia.

Both were taken to the Sherburne County Jail.
