As part of Kindness Week in Becker, the police department is hosting a drive-through doughnut breakfast Wednesday morning, 7:00 am to 9:00 am, in the city hall parking lot.
A man has serious but non-life threatening injuries after falling 20 feet from the roof of a home in Becker. Becker Police chief Brent Baloun says the incident happened at about 7:45 a.m. Wednesday in the 14000 block of River Street.
A Minnetonka man was arrested for allegedly having over $24,000 worth of drugs on him. Police responded to a disturbance at a business in the area. After investigating, they arrested 35-year-old Casey Bakken for having numerous drugs in his possession.
A Maple Grove man was arrested on Saturday after allegedly fleeing police and having methamphetamine in his vehicle. Becker Police say the incident happened just before 3:30 p.m. Police received a call reporting a vehicle that was traveling over 100 mph and weaving in and out of traffic.
Two people were arrested in Becker on Tuesday after allegedly threatening someone with a BB gun. Becker Police responded to a report that a gun was pointed at another person. An officer found the suspects in a vehicle in the 12000 block of Stevens Avenue with two replica BB guns in plain view.
