Avon’s Serenity Village Senior Living Center Opens Monday
AVON -- A new senior living center opens on Monday in Avon. Serenity Village is in the Avon Estates housing development.
Paula Rocheleau is one of Serenity's owners and the CEO of Partners Senior Living Options. She says, the new facility will have a range of prices, based on level of care needed.
"What we do is we have it according to how much care you need, and it's a per day - so if you need light care, it'd be $120 per day, and that goes all the way to total care, we do the full life spectrum so people can stay until end-of-life. So we will do full care and that's around $200 a day."
Rocheleau adds they'll have 23 total units at Serenity village, ranging from eleven one-bedroom assisted living units, and 12 memory care units.
Some of the services they provide are:
- 24/7 awake staff
- 24/7 RN's
- Medication Management
- Bathing assistance
- Housekeeping Services
- Paid utilities (phone is extra)
- Basic Cable TV
The facility is planning a neighborhood open house with small group tours for next Thursday, May 18th at 1:00 p.m.
Serenity Village already has around ten people on a waiting list, to get on their waiting list, call 320-302-0192.
