Around the Town: Sauk Rapids Gears up for Food Fest [VIDEO]

SAUK RAPIDS -- Hot dogs, brats, sweet corn, cheese curds and many more tasty treats will be the highlight of this year's Rapids River Days Food Fest in Sauk Rapids.

Twenty-three vendors will be serving up their mouth watering creations at the Sauk Rapids Municipal Park, Saturday. Organizer Dan Zika says but the great food is only part of what they have in store for the 28th Annual Food Fest.

"We also have three bands throughout the course of the day and we have a cold beer tent."

Other activities include pony rides, crafts and face painting.

Zika says parking will be free for Food Fest.

"They can park on the grounds, we have plenty of ample parking both ways, we just encourage no one to park along the railroad tracks."

Admission is free. Food Fest runs Saturday from 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Sauk Rapids Municipal Park.
