Anna Marie’s Alliance Seeks Donations For Pet Shelter [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD -- Anna Marie's Alliance in St. Cloud is accepting donations for their pet shelter facility. The new building will house up to five cats and five dogs along with various other smaller animals.

Charles Hempeck is the executive director. He says there has been a lot of community support and local donations.

He says it's critical that pets stay with their owners who have suffered from domestic abuse during such a difficult time.

Some local girl scout troops have been donating a portion of their  cookie sales to the shelter. They are also planning to help with the creation of a garden center that will be attached to the new facility.

The organization hopes to raise $40,000. Hempeck says the organization is close to their goal.
