ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Four radio stations and a news website have put in bids to air a weekly radio show featuring Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton.

Bidding closed today, and Dayton's administration could decide this week on the broadcast rights to the show.

The bidders are the BringMeTheNews.com website, JR Broadcasting, KFAI, the Minnesota News Network and WCCO Radio. BringMeTheNews provides content to stations including Cities 97. JR Broadcasting owns AM 950.

Details on the proposals aren't considered public yet.

Dayton is following the tradition of Republican Gov. Tim Pawlenty and Independence Party Gov. Jesse Ventura before him in having a show.

Pawlenty and Ventura had hour-long Friday programs with WCCO-AM as the flagship carrier.
