MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Minneapolis police say two people were hurt when a pedal pub tipped over while traveling around downtown.

The vehicle - a roving bar on wheels - tipped over onto three of its patrons about 3 p.m. Thursday as it rounded a corner near Mill Ruins Park.

Reports say that two people were hospitalized.

The popular pedal pubs are slow-moving party vehicles steered by an official driver and carrying up to 16 people. The riders pedal away as the vehicles move on prescribed routes.

Users bring their own beverages, including alcoholic ones, and snacks.

Pedal pubs became legal in Minnesota about four years ago.
