2 Arrested in Teen’s Death in Shakopee

SHAKOPEE, Minn. (AP) - Authorities are holding two men in the fatal shooting of a teenager at a Shakopee mobile home park.

Police were called around 5 p.m. Thursday to Valley Haven Trailer Park on a report of a man with gunshot wounds. Officers found an 18-year-old man dead.

Police arrested two Shakopee men, a 21-year-old and a 19-year-old. They remain in the Scott County Jail, pending charges.

The name of the victim has not been released. Police say the shooting was not a random act and that there is no danger to the public.
