WAITE PARK -- It's time to say goodbye to potholes for the season. Waite Park's road restrictions were lifted Tuesday.

Now they can move forward with road repairs and hole patching. This year's winter delayed the filling process by about two weeks. Public Works director Bill Schluenz says he thinks it will cost the city slightly more than it did last year to fix the potholes.

The asphalt plant is scheduled to deliver the hot mix on Monday. Once it arrives, the city plans to start patching the gaps. Schluenz says his department has a good idea of where the major problem areas are located.

They plan to focus on fixing the holes along the main roads and work their way to the more residential areas.

If you want to report a pothole problem in your neighborhood you're asked to call the city office at 320-252-6822.
