Two Hurt in Broadside Crash Near Litchfield

LITCHFIELD -- Two people are hurt in a broadside crash in Meeker County Friday morning.

The incident happened around 8:45 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 34 and Highway 24 near Litchfield.

The state patrol says 79-year-old Cecilia Graham, of Watkins, was waiting at a stop sign heading south on County Road 34, when she proceeded to drive forward and hit another vehicle heading east.

71-year-old Thomas Schanil, of Hector, was the driver of the second vehicle.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
