Truth: Can Christmas Music Be Bad For Your Health?
Christmas music should spark a festive mood. But it's hard to be festive for two months...it's downright exhausting. Most of us don't have Buddy's stamina when it comes to Christmas Spirit.

Too Much Christmas Music Can Be Bad For Your Health
Does Christmas music drive you nuts? I was doing some quick shopping at Target (another unattainable expectation: 'quick' shopping at Target) last week and had just reached the chip aisle when I realized I was having a negative physical reaction to...something. I wanted to scream but didn't know why.
And then I realized it was because Christmas music was playing on the intercom.
Excuse me a moment...
Thank you.
It's not just me, and it's not just you if you also find straight fire exploding out of your head when Mariah Carey thaws out to assault our ears every not-even-Thanksgiving-yet: science agrees with us.
According to Dr. Victoria Williamson - a music psychology researcher - there is a "U-shaped relationship" between our reaction to music and how often we hear it. In non-nerd language: we love Christmas music the first few times we hear it...but after being pummeled by it for a few months, we go nuts.
