Training Exercise to Close Quarry Park Thursday

WAITE PARK -- Wildfire training will close the Quarry Park and Nature Preserve tomorrow (Thursday).

The Minnesota DNR will be simulating a wildfire situation at the park from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

There won't be any actual fires, but the activities at the park will simulate a wildfire.

Quarry Park will re-open after the training is completed.
