Traffic Stop Leads To Arrest In East St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD -- A man who was stopped for running a red light ended-up getting arrested.

St. Cloud police stopped 20-year-old Curtis Marshik of St. Cloud just before midnight last (Wednesday) night at the intersection of East St. Germain and Riverside Drive Northeast.

Police say the 20-year-old had been drinking alcohol, but he was not over the legal limit.  They also found three pills of oxycotin, 7 grams of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Marshik was taken to the Benton County Jail and is expected to face a variety of charges.
