In December 2013, 31-year-old Jamie Wylie went missing. Months went by until Wylie's body was discovered lying in a ditch last March. An autopsy of Wylie determined he had been shot to death.

Authorities arrested two St. Cloud men last May in connection with Wylie's murder. 26-year-old Travis McKinney and 25-year-old Joshua Smith are jailed on charges in connection to the killing.

A Benton County grand jury has indicted McKinney on charges of first and second degree murder, being a felon in possession of a gun and interfering with a dead body. Smith has been indicted on aiding and abetting first and second degree murder.

Wylie was found with gunshot wounds behind a business east of St. Cloud. According to the criminal complaint, McKinney shot Wylie twice with a shotgun, once in the hip and once in the neck and facial area.

McKinney is being held on $1,000,000 bail and Smith is being held on $500,000 bail. Coincidentally, both men have hearings scheduled for today (Friday).
