Tonight’s Powerball Jackpot an Estimated $288 Million
No one matched all six numbers in Saturday's Powerball drawing, increasing the jackpot to $280 million for Monday night's drawing.
The winning numbers drawn Saturday were: 6-16-31-62-66, Powerball: 18.
A basic Powerball ticket costs $2, and to claim the big prize you'll need to match five numbers (1-69), plus the Powerball (1-26). The odds? 1 in 292,301,388. Assuming you win the Powerball jackpot Saturday, you can choose to take the lump-sum cash option and take home $475 million.
According to the Powerball website, Saturday nights drawing was delayed by five hours.
Normally, the drawing occurs at 10:59 p.m., but did not happen 1:35 a.m. Sunday due to a participating lottery needing extra time to complete the required security protocols.
