Thin Ice Halts Skating on Lake George
ST. CLOUD -- St. Cloud Park and Recreation officials want to alert you to thin ice that has developed on Lake George.
So, until further notice, there is no ice skating allowed on the lake.
Park Department policy requires six inches of quality ice before the lake is considered safe for skating.
City officials will continue to monitor the lake and re-open it for skating when the ice is ready.
